Spokane, WA- Shiloh Hills Ward- Week #20

Well Hello my good friends and family and some acquaintances, and just those random people on this group email that dont even know me! 😂 Thanksgiving was this week and it was just amazing!! We could not proselyte on thanksgiving day because people wanted to spend time with their families!! Something that i could sadly not do.... 😓 but it was still really good we went to the church building and played ball basically all day!! It was great!! That day also we had 2 Dinners to go to! And neither one had turkey! Thanksgiving with no turkey? Im not complaining i just thought it was hilarious and i liked the ham a little more... Yeah ham is really good! Thanksgiving didnt stop there!! Yeah we ended up having thanksgiving dinners the rest of the week!! So yes we still ended up getting our turkey in! Thats a good thing! 😂 Then sunday came around and it was pretty much the weirdest sunday on my mission! We were doing our studies and we get a text from the other Elders at like 8:45 saying we had to be at Ward council at 9... Yeah we live at the bottom of our area and we had 15 Minutes to ride up to the top of our area (Where the church is BTW) so we high tail all the way up where in the mix i lost my tag somehow! Then we got to the church and I straight Wreck on my bike!! In my suit and all i fall right onto my face!! I dont know how it happened but all i know is i just wrecked on my bike!! We then go into ward council where we sat there for 2 minutes then they dismissed us because they didnt need the Elders there anymore... So needless to say that meeting wasnt worth riding all the way up for and even wrecking on my bike!! Gosh dangit! So we went to the other Elders house and i literally got in the shower and said im restarting my day! It was pretty funny and it was so soothing!! 😂 We are also teaching this Part Member family named the Kann's and they are so amazing! The wife is a member and the husband isnt so thats why we are teaching them! But they also canceled on us yesterday which really made that day kind of sour! Because thats the one thing Elder Lundberg and i look forward to all week is a lesson with them! So that was good! Then during church we had a lesson with Rachel (A YSA member that E. Lundberg used to teach) we were talking to her about the gospel of Jesus Christ and it was a really powerful lesson I have just come to a knowledge on what the Atonement has done for me in my life! I know that we all mess up and we arent perfect but Jesus Christ went into that garden for each and every one of us individually and he cares for us and he knows what we are going through! You may have crap days but it may sound silly but Christ knows what your going through and he is always there for you to turn too! Its such an amazing gift that he has done for us but how often do we take it for granted? We shouldnt be doing that! Lets make it count and i know that Christ did it for all of us and he loves every single one of us! I love all of you thanks for all the support you all give me! And wow i wrote a novel im sorry! It was an amazing week and ill hear from all of you again in December!! Love you all!! 😊

Man!!!! I love the snow!! I am so mad that im not there to go snowboarding!! But its all good im fine with missing 2 winters without boarding!! This is actually better so im  not even mad!! I want to really thank you for all the christmas music too!! Really brings in the spirit of christmas!! I love it!! Oh can i ask you a favor so i have a little pocket book of mormon on the top shelf in my closet (or Aydens closet or whatever) but can you please send that to me in the next sports update/Ward newsletter letter or the next package you send that would be awesome thank you so much!! To answer a few of your questions yes it started to snow up here today not a lot but its coming!! And no i didnt get hurt when I wrecked on my bike and the suit is not ruined or anything.... just one of the belt loops kind of ripped off! 😓 

How did you find out about the mass letter Elder Lundgren wrote out? Afton? Because you find out everything from Aft! 😂 But no it didnt have to do with the letter he wrote! 😂  All that is writing me from home is Aft, Taylor, Jace, Aubrey, tell everyone else to write me and ill respond! 😂😊 The work is still going pretty alright. We are just having troubles finding people to teach but its getting there and Riley and Paige are both still getting baptized this Friday!! And one of my investigators from Pullman (Meghan) just got baptized last week which is freaking awesome!! I was so excited to hear that she did! Man it is awesome!! I was one of the missionaries that first started teaching her forever ago in August! And now shes baptized!! It was a pretty cool thing to be a part of!! 

Painter sounds like he is doing awesome coaching at CHS! It already sounds like its better than last year! I think he's right, it did seem like everyone was scared to shoot or even try and score the ball!! But Boston with 33 points thats awesome he really killed it!! And Clearfield losing by 3 IN OVERTIME! to a team ranked 3rd in the state! Progress being made already!! Im excited to see Ayden kill it out there!! I do not like any of the teams going for the College Playoff this year! unless U-Dub makes it then i will cheer for them for sure!! Hopefully they make it though!! 

Holy really?!?!!? Ayden got another ticket?!?!!? Wow they are both worse than Kennah my gosh!!!! You really need to whip them into shape mom!! Thanksgiving amazing!! I love thanksgiving even if i was going to sit around and play mah jong i still would have wrecked and won all the prizes!! But give me another thanksgiving and i will come back and completely wreck!! Thats a warning to all!! 😂 

Man Jace always helping everyone out with Math hes gonna have to do that for me when i get home for sure!! But yeah he has told me all his job issues and what not but i honestly hope he goes back out! It will be so good for him and trevor to go out! Trevor told me before i left that he wanted to go on a mission so i think trevor will help jace out for sure to get him out there! But yeah its hard being the only one home im sure.. Miss that guy and his friendship for real! Yeah ill be sure to tell you my address if i get transferred (which is highly unlikely) but after this transfer that ive had i wont count anything out!! Thanks for keeping me updated on everything mom youre the best!! I love feeling in the loop!! Ill send you some pictures now!! :)

Back from the dead! With that title you already know crazy things are still happening to me in this Area!! So in the beginning of the week i was in my tripanionship with Elder Wilcox and Elder Wilson and we had a ton of fun but apparently the lord wants me to move again!! And he brought someone back from the dead! Oh yes he did President asks me how would i like to have Elder Lundberg for another few weeks?? You already know i kind of used a lot of slang with President at that moment. It went something like this "DUDE! Id freaking love that!! Heck yes!!" So dont ask us how it happened but we are back at it again being companions again Party Transfer 2.0!! 😂 So all that crazy stuff happened on Saturday i know i told you all to send letters packages and what not to the 912 E. Sitka house but i was a liar then ive repented of my ways so for sure now send all that stuff to the Empire house which the address is 41 E. Empire Apt A Spokane WA 99207! That is where i will hopefully be staying for the duration of the transfer! I say hopefully because you just never know now after all that ive been through this transfer!! Its really been a crazy one!! 😂 But anyways this week was pretty slow for my birthday we went to B-Dubs (Which i freaking love) and one of our investigators Paige paid for our dinner which was so awesome of her!! So that happened and i had my first experience of skinning a deer which was awesome and i got to hold a heart and get my hands pretty bloody it was a great experience for sure!! Other than that my week was pretty slow and nothing else really happened except moving again!! So yep thats my week Love you all and im so happy to hear from all of you next week!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! (this week on thursday 😂)

MOM!! my birthday was pretty awesome!! Its weird that i am 19... I shouldnt be that old!! And your instagram post kind of brought a tear to my eye... It was the best thing ever I loved reading it though but Birthdays out on the mission are for sure different and it was pretty weird but it was so awesome!! AHHHH Christmas time!! I really love this time of year honestly its so amazing I just love it so much and Kennah gets to be home for it! Man that really was so fast!! Im so excited to see her when shes at home!! Thats what Im saying it is crazy that football is over already and Ayden is starting basketball man the year is really flying by! Its so weird to think that im knocking on 5 months already and its the last full week of November! Holy cow! Time flies!! Well Jaret honestly deserves JV MVP if hes not going to be the Varsity starter then he deserves some sort of MVP! Those dang kids!! Getting Tickets and Wrecks left and right thats crazy!! Expensive kids for sure!! I never got any of those cause im a freaking bomb driver mom!! Freaking Utes choking this year too!! Gosh dangit! I cant believe they missed out on the Pac 12 Championship again and that Washington State is in the conversation for that holy no way!! I was wondering when he was going to get home and i thought november and i was correct so score one for Logan!! 😂 Dang everything is changing up there thats nuts!! Everyone is moving in and out im not going to know anyone when i get home!! 😂 I LOVE THANKSGIVING!! We are going to a members house for it and he says we are really going to be eating real good for dinner he told us what we are having and im seriously excited!! And we did end up going to B-Dubs and one of our investigators Paige paid for all of our food it was amazing!! She is seriously so nice!! But this week has been really crazy again im moved back down at the Empire house so send letters and such to there and the other crazy part that happened this week is i got another new companion and you wont believe who it is...Its Elder Lundberg again!!! Man we had way too much fun and we are back at it again being companions!!! Im so pumped he got here like 2 days ago so yes there was another Emergency Transfer that happened but i dont know how we ended up together again but it happened!! Im so pumped thanksgiving this week!! Eat double for me i want to be there so bad!! Love you mom ill talk to you next week!! 😊

Hello ladies and gentlemen of all types (I got you josh) but this week has been kind of crazy a lot has happened in a freaking week!! It started as a normal week! Until... that dreaded wednesday night! (i think it was wednesday night) ANYWAYS!! We were chillin doing our nightly planning and about to go to bed when all of a sudden President calls us and tells me that my companion is being ET'd (emergency Transferred) up to another area because another missionary went home for some medical reason. He got transferred and i am staying with the other Elders that were in the area! Because you know we have 2 sets of missionaries in the area! So now im in a tripanionship with Elders Wilcox and Wilson! Its way freaking fun!! We get distracted a lot but we get a lot of work done too at the same time!! We have 2 girls on date now their names are Riley and Paige! They are my age and they work at subway so they are on date for December 3rd and its going to be the first baptism i have ever been a part of! Im way pumped!!!! So we are teaching a lot of people and we are just having a great time while doing it! Tripanionships are really a lot more fun than just normal companionships in my opinion to be honest!! Everyone its christmas time around the area too!! And im so freaking excited!! Well everyone remember the true meaning of CHRISTmas and im excited to see what you all send me for christmas...HAHAHAHAHAA IM SO KIDDING BY THE WAY!! Well  that has been my crazy week and I'm glad ill be hearing from all of you next week!! Love you all and PS I dont feel like i should be turning 19 holy cow im still 13 and should not be on a mission!! ANYWAYS i love all of you and thank you for your support for me!! Love YOU!! :)

 Wilcox says hi... and that he loves you and you did a great job at raising a son! 😂😂 I KNOW!!! I TURN 19 this week thats freaking crazy!!!! I dont feel like i should be turning 19! Its crazy to me!! So Mom a lot of crazy stuff has been happening!! I told you about my companion last week, and so after all that hard time of not doing a whole lot (because he was kind of lazy and didnt want to do a whole lot) i was just done with it and sat him down and basically said that i was sick and tired of feeling like i wasnt doing anything and not feeling like an effective missionary! So I decided to take charge of the companionship - i was really relying on him to teach me because i was new to the area I didnt know what i was doing and I didnt even know how to serve in a family ward!! Yeah so i kind of took over the companionship and we started doing a lot of work the next 2 days! But this is where it gets crazy! So i want to say it was wednesday night we got a call from president saying that my companion was being Emergency Transferred up to another Area! and I was being moved into a tripanionship with the other Elders in the Area (Elders Wilcox and Wilson) yeah im freaking pumped,  its seriously so much fun! We get a lot of work done while we are together too Man I'm freaking lucky!! i was trying my best to have a good attitude and stay positive but it was just really hard and it was taking a toll on me for real!! But its all good now im perfectly fine and happy!! 😂My new address for the rest of the transfer is 912 E Sitka A303 Spokane WA 99208! So if you already sent the package and stuff i can easily go back to the other house and grab it so its no big deal! I was just giving you that address if you wanted to send me anything for the next 2 weeks or so! 😂 AHHHHH Christmas time!! I freaking love christmas!! So the thing about the music you sent me i cant play it unless it gets onto my Ipod via Itunes so it took a while but i finally found a member that has an itunes account and was nice enough to do that for me!! So i will be rocking out to my chirstmas music all the rest of my mission!!! WOOHOO Im so excited for the package and Elder Wilcox, Wilson and i were talking that we are going to B-Dubs on my birthday so im not even mad about that!! 😂 Dang its basketball season already? I knew Ayden would make it but its crazy that all those other guys didnt make it though!! That really surprised me!!! WHAT?!?!!?!!? first sister AP to the President?!?!!? Thats an on going joke in my Mission!! Thats seriously awesome holy cow!!! man thats crazy!! I could totally see her being an AP though even though she was a sister thats freaking awesome!! Man if there ever was going to be a sister AP it was going to be Kennah!! 😂 But yeah thats the thing we are really lucky as a family I notice that more and more since ive been out on how blessed i have been i really have!! I love it so much and im so glad that i have grown up in the awesome family that i have!!  im glad to hear youre all doing good down there that really helps me to hear that!! and Ayden and Jaret got tickets before me!! SUCKERS!! 😂😂 And if you guys are going to come out here and pick me up that means that Elder Wilson and I have to replan what we have planned for after our missions, but im so excited to do that!! You have no idea!! thats awesome to hear that Kennahs and Hannahs homecomings will be on the same day thats so crazy man i want to be there for it so bad!! But Im glad to hear things back at home its awesome!! Love you mom talk to you next week!!

Man Mom I freaking love all your pictures that you send to me!! since i got the USB Ive been saving all the pictures you send me onto it because its freaking huge and i have a lot of space on it!! 😂 But hey when you send my birthday package can you send me the October and November Fast sunday newsletters from our ward? I really love reading those and seeing how everyone is doing! Just think like every fast sunday when the newsletter comes you should probs just send it to me because i kind of want one.. I dont like feeling out of the loop! 😂 REALLY?!?!?! Her last transfer starts today?? Dang that is so crazy!!! Thats freaking cool that you are picking her up from Mississippi though!! Thats awesome!! Is that going to happen to me?? Or you dont even know yet? Man mom im knocking on 4 months!! by the time kennah gets home ill have basically her mission left!! Man time really does fly by! Dang my mission is going to go by a lot faster than i thought!! That kind of scares me... But anyways yeah i dont know what it is with all those Lee girls liking them Scotts 😂 that is pretty funny!! But yeah Taylor has been telling me about this wedding for a while now and its about time it finally happened!! 😂 MAN!! I freaking love Flag Football Season!!! That is seriously the one thing that i miss about this time of the year!! Well besides all the pumpkin stuff that everyone gives me but flag football is a very close 2nd though!! Do a lot of people still show up for that? What?!?!? Ayden didnt go?? I thought he did!! Dang that is a bummer!! He still has next year though!! Man them ladies were missing out on one hunk of a man!! 😂 Really Nick is home for good now? Dangit! I was really excited for him to go back out and finish through .. Dang poor Nick love that kid though and i really love that family so much! Man, everyone is on their way home now! Woohoo!! Yeah i know this is seriously my favorite time of the year its so awesome i love it so much!! But mom this last week i have kind of struggled. Its been really hard to be honest. Well we havent been teaching like anyone since i got here and finding people is seriously so freaking hard! And it doesnt help that my companion is really kind of quiet like no other!! Like its seriously pretty freaking hard and it really took a toll on me last week! Man but I just know that im blessed for being out here and i know that the Lord knows what im going through and he wont leave me! He will always be with me and i think that is just amazing and ive really learned that this transfer so far and yeah Life isnt going to stop throwing haymakers at us! 😂 But dont worry Im good and all is well i just have to have a better attitude about it!!
