Logan saying goodbye to the Frank Family. His most favorite family in 5 Mile.
And the sweet goodbye gift they made for him of his "most used" quote
Hey Whats Up Hello?!?! What a week it has been!! What a week say!! It has for sure been one heck of one that is for sure!! Transfer Days are weird now! I probably already told you this already but, here you go you are going to hear it again! π We transfer on Thursdays now instead of Tuesdays! We find out our new area and our new companion on Monday Morning, and we don't leave until Thursday... NIGHT!! What in the world is going on here!! It was the weirdest thing. This week then I found out that I will be leaving to Coeur d'Alene on Monday and I continued to live life like it was normal until Thursday Morning, when it dawned on me that I haven't started packing... π well that is A ok right? Good thing we don't transfer until 5 O'clock that night! The other weird thing that was weird about this whole week thing, was that (This was still before I transferred to CDA) Since Elder Christensen (Bless his soul) went home early Tuesday morning cause he finished his Mission that meant we got to be in a Tripanionship for 2 days with Elder Jones in Shadle Park!! π that was pretty weird cause not only were we supposed to still proselyte, we worked both in Five Mile and Shadle Park! SO WEIRD!! πAnyways that was a lot of fun! Doing that we saw a lot of miracles!! Thats what is going to be weird about this email is that I get to report on 2 different places! π earlier this week (While I was still in Five Mile) we had this solid lesson with an Investigator Elder Speckhard and I found last week or 2 weeks ago now I guess.. Anyways she is super solid!! Her name is Lucille if I didn't mention that yet.. π She had some court thing she had to go to for her house in Omack... (Some place in Washington I have no clue where that is...π) Anyways she was reallly stressed about the whole court thing, so she started reading the Book of Mormon. What?!? Who does that?!? Going on she continued to tell us that she no longer felt stressed or nervous or anxious about the court case! NO WAY!!! π That was so awesome to hear that! She continued to say that it was a good book and whatever she was reading and whatever is in that Book its really good! WOOHOOO!! Probably one of the best things that you could hear as a Missionary!! Then we taught her the Restoration and she said that it makes complete sense and that she believes it!!! Once again I will say it... NO WAY!!! π Also on that list of things Missionaries wants to hear! We invited her to be baptized and she said YES! Woot Woot!! Too bad she will be moving back to Omack (Still don't know where that is π) here in the next few weeks.. We will be sure to get in contact with those dang Omack Elders because they now have a solid Investigator!! She agreed to continue to meet with us though until she moves back! YAY!!! Too bad I will not be there for them though... All the same work everywhere am I right?? π Then we worked in Shadle and put one of their investigators on Date too! For the same date Ray and Rose are on date for May 26th! WooHoo!! North Spokane is bumpin!! Then Transfers started to happen and then I had to make the runs around to members houses again to tell them goodbye.. For good this time maybe... Too bad they won't believe me they all tell me "Oh don't worry you'll be back here before you go home! You did it once who says you can't do it again!" π I love that ward so much and the members and I have grown so close together! I love them and I really consider them my family! To see the change that 5 Mile Prairie has gone through since I got there has been pretty amazing to look back on! I thank our Heavenly Father every single day for the blessing I've had to see it how it was and to leave it how it is now! I thank him as well for using me as an instrument in his hands to progress his work there forever! Without his divine guidence and his wonderful miracles he has blessed me with while I was there it would not have been as good as it is now! As Brother Frank, Elder Speckhard and I say "We just work here!" π Its him praise! I was just at the right place at the right time! I just love this work so much!! Anyways that was my early this week! Now Coeur d'Alene (9th Areaπ) has been nothing but awesome!! π My new Companion Elder Mohler (19th Companionπ) is super awesome and we get along great!! Funny thing is that I already knew Elder Mohler from my time in 5 Mile!! π He was serving in Shiloh Hills funny enough and we met in the Francis Building together! We saw and talked to eachother a lot already! π Its been good and we have put a lot of work in this area already! Once again President has put me in a "Dead" or "Struggling" Area... Like we all already know is that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DEAD AREA!!! π I am so excited to get this area going! To have this ward excited and pumped up to do some Missionary work!! This is what its about! Having Faith in God that he can make some miracles happen! If we don't have faith he will give us miracles why in the world would he give us any?!? I don't know why either! We have already seen some Miracles! We have already put 2 people on date and still grindin to find people to teach! So far its working and we are finding some success already!! π This is the greatest work ever!! I love being a Missionary! This ward is going to be so awesome! Today at church the ward and I already have hit it off really good so there are more things to come, more miracles to see, and people to find, teach, and Baptize!! What a time to be a Missionary π and to be living in this wonderful world at this time! Thanks for making it through this mile long email! Holy cow! I have a lot to say I'm sorry!! π I think that is all I have to say and update on! More things to come next week so stay tuned!! Remember I love you all so much, The Church is True, and the book is Blue, and better luck next year New England there is a new Champion in town this year! Way to beat them Philedelphia!! π I love you all so much talk to you all next week!! LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! πππ
Love,
ELDER LOGAN SCOTT :)
Logan's favorite Zone in 5 Mile Prarie. Saying goodbye to Elder Christensen in the center. His mission is complete!
Logan and Elder Mohler his new companion. He has served around him before, they get along great!
Serving in Coeur d'Alene Logan says feels a little like serving in Park City. He likes it there.
