Well hello everyone! Its a surprise to see you all here!! 😂 Well the transfer angel has just passed by me once again... I am staying!! WOOHOO!! Buuuuuuuuuuutttttt I am still a District Leader.... And also I am 2nd Training some missionary.... Why in the world are my responsibilities growing on me!?!!? AHHHHHHH 😂 Its ok I am excited to serve and do what the Lord wants me to do! 😂 To be honest this transfer didn't even happen... It went by so fast!! Its so crazy!!! 😂 Everyone in the Zone has been transferred!! Our Zone was so sick!! And now the North Spokane Zone got wrecked!! Everyone tells me that their goal as a Zone is to not get me ET'd because they think that I am going to struggle with my new Companion.... Hey I am pretty excited!! Lets go its gonna be an awesome transfer!! Elder Young is super cool.. And he is also training so we are going to be doing 12 week together! Its going to be a lot of fun!! 😂 Anyways this week wasn't too eventful... We did a ton of finding all transfer!! We have finally seen fruits from all of our hard work!! We found 4 new investigators this week!! They are all families too!! YESSSSSSS!!! They all said that they would read the Book of Mormon and that is the kicker to it all!! Once they read the Book of Mormon then everything else will fall into place! Joseph Smith? CHECK!, Word of Wisdom? CHECK, 3 Hours of Church? CHECK, Anything else that they might have a question with will all come back to the Book of Mormon! If someone has a hang up about something then the question they are really asking is if the Book of Mormon is true!! Its so simple but it is something that we look over all of the time!! The Gospel is simple but as Church members I feel like we like to over complicate things sometimes!! God he isn't the Author of confusion and either should we!! I just love how simple the Gospel is!! I LOVE IT!!! 😂 Anyways other than that nothing else has happened! Fall is indeed upon us now! Prepare for the storm thats acoming!! 😂 Well thats all I got! I love you all so so much!! Hello my friends families and acquaintances and maybe some enemies that might be on here who knows!! 😂 Well this week wasn't too eventful... I still had a lot of fun though don't get me wrong!! I have truly had the Missionary feel this past week!! 😂 We are just blowing through our Formers and Potentials right now! Everytime I get into an area my goal is to get my name on every single teaching record to show that I showed up there! Or to update them to see if they are still down for the Gospel or not! 😂 It has been a lot of door knocking and some of the responses are usually pretty funny!! 😂 Thats half the reason why I love knocking doors!! To see their faces and to get a response!! 😂 Like this one lady came out and said no words to us... She just came out and gave us a dirty look and pointed right at her "No Soliciting" sign and slammed the door in our face!! 😂 I thought she was hilarious because she didn't even give me time to speak!! 😂 If she would have she would have found out that we aren't selling anything and that we wanted to do some service for her thats all! 😂 Well too bad you missed out on that one my friend!! Man I love it though!! 😂 Anyways tomorrow morning we are going to early morning seminary (Which I now see how blessed I was with Seminary during school!! These kids are showing up at the crack of dawn to come to Seminary!! I had it either 1st or 4th period and I still had problems showing up!! 😂 We are truly blessed in that great state of Utah for sure!!) ANYWAYS! We are going to see this super solid potential! Her name is Calin and listen to this girls story!! Ok so this girl this is her 3rd year in a row being enrolled in Seminary, she has read the whole Book of Mormon multiple times, she just recently went on a Pioneer Trek with her friends (Thats solid because who voluntarily goes on Pioneer Trek!?!? JK I loved Trek!! 😂) She also comes to church pretty regularly! She already lives the lifestyle and she is not baptized yet... Like what?!?! How aren't you baptized yet?!? We were talking to a member that knows her really well and he said that she met the last missionaries and she thought they were a little weird and awkward.. Wow that is blunt isn't it?? 😂 and he also thinks that no one has even asked her to be baptized yet...  😐 ARE WE FOR REALZ NOW?!?! Well I feel like that is why I am here! I don't feel like I am that awkward anymore, and I am too down to ask her to be baptized!! 😂 I met her one time at church and I thought that she was a member!! She is so solid!! So stay tuned for next week to see what comes from this wild Calin chase!! 😂 Well that is all I got I guess! We did have Zone Conference and of course President blew my mind!! As always!! I got to chill with my good ole MTC Comp E. Miner!! That was the first meeting I had with the guy since we came out!! 😂 It was a lot of fun to catch up with everyone and get my mind blown!! 😂 Well thats it for this episode of Elder Logan Scott's normal Mission Life!! Spokane Valley- 5-mile Prairie Ward-Week #61

HEEEEEEEYYYYOOOO!!! 

To be honest this week was pretty much a joke!! 😂 They told us that the air quality was so bad that it is actually hazardous! Then they say that if we don't have set appointments then we need to stay inside.... Well there goes all of our plans and our day for the rest of the week!! We don't have a lot of investigators so with no investigators we have no set lessons!! So therefore we were sent to be inside all day!! Everyday!! For 5 Days!! I was going crazy!!!! 😂 Or they said to stay in the car for as long as you can! We are in a car share with the Brentwood Elders so we basically hung out with them on spilts in both of our areas because we have one car... So pretty much it was a joke!! 😂  On the bright side though it has gotten a little colder so that makes things nice!! Fall is now upon us and I am so happy about it!! 😂 OHHHHH another really cool miracle that happened this week!! We were working in our area and I was driving and we were going to see this potential at the bottom of our area. I started driving that way then all of a sudden I heard this voice in my head that said "Go see Jared!" (Jared is another Potential in the opposite direction of where we were at, at the time! On the other side of the area!!) I wasn't going to ignore that voice though! I turned around and went up to see Jared! Of course he wasn't home! 😂 We were all thinking it was a big waste of time! Then we saw 3 kids and we started talking to them! They were all 14 and 15 years old! They were asking us questions on what we do as Missionaries, We answered their questions, then they started asking about the Book of Mormon and what not! We explained that and the story behind it too! Then we gave them each a Book and Elder Horne (one of the Brentwood Elders) was showing them some super cool scriptures in it! They all thought it was pretty cool or whatever! Then I asked them how long it would take for them to read a 531 Page book?? Then one of them started getting super pumped up! His name is Ronin (Remember that name) he was so pumped and told his friends that they should for real do this!! They all said a week and they gave us their word that they would call us and tell us how it went!! Then they gave us their numbers so just in case they didn't call us then we could!! It was seriously so awesome!! Then we were texting Ronin right after and he kept telling us how excited he was to read the Book of Mormon and how he has been waiting for something like this for a while!! He is truly taking it seriously and I am so excited to see what comes from it!! One of his really good friends is in our ward already so there we go instant fellowship!! 😂 Take that Smoke you think you can stop this work from progressing well think again!! 😂 It was such a miracle for real though!! We were truly blessed though, It truly was Gods hand!! He really does send us where we need to go!! Iove it!! This has been all worth it the past 14 months for sure!! Well yeah that was this week though! 😂 

We have Zone Conference on Wednesday and its with 2 neighboring Zones and I have friends in both those zones!! Actually both of them are my 2 past Zones I was serving in! But with transfers or whatever a bunch of my friends I have made out here have been transferred to these 2 Zones! So I am pretty pumped!! 😂 Then next P-day a neighboring Zone (Spokane West, the one I just came from last transfer) challenged us to a Multi-Zone P-Day!! It was actually my last companion Elder Yankey that declared war on us! So this today we are making shirts to show up and show how unified as a Zone we are!! I am so pumped!! Its gonna be a ton of fun!! 😂 Well thats about it with me though!! Its been a pretty fun week! 😂 I love you all so much!! Don''t worry the smoke has died down and we are actually allowed to be outside!! This week I have also saw how many people are not interested at all!! I have never seen so many Not Interested people in my whole life!! Its a JOKE!! Again on the brightside people were actually answering the door!! WHAT A BLESSING!! That never happens either!! Well I am loving it up here in Spokane!! I gotta make it count its winding down fast I am terrified about that!! Well thats all I got this week!! Love you all so much!! Talk to you all next week!! Received an email from President and Sister Dymock telling their missionaries that they are to stay indoors if they do not have a mask on, and they must be transported to and from appointments.  No walking or riding bikes allowed.

HEY PEOPLE OF UTAH!!!! Or for those select few that are not from Utah that are spread out all across the globe!! 😂 This week was pretty uneventful to be straight honest... BUT!  Have no fear I am still having a ton of fun proseletizing! I know that is spelled wrong but say it how its spelled and that is how I meant it!! 😂 Something crazy actually happened this week on like Thursday!! I won't go into detail with it but we literally talked to a guy that has Demons in him!!! AHHHHHHH SO SCARY!!! 😖 It literally was the scariest thing that I have ever been apart of! I was talking to him on the phone and literally felt the spirit leave and some evil thing come in through the phone!! Again I won't go into detail but it was scary!!! 😱 We planned to meet up with guy and cast some demons out of him!! Good thing though because he didn't show up and I honestly had no clue what I was doing!!! Or why we kept talking to this dude!! 😂 He flaked out on us and that was it with this guy! We aren't going to even play around with that stuff cause that crap is real and its downright terrifying!!! 😂 Anyways moving along to more happier and more spiritual matters! We had this special Stake Conference on Sunday! It was all about boundary changes! They are saying the church is growing so much here and that they need to split everything!! 😂 My ward didn't get effected at all but everyone around me changed a lot!! It was awesome because Mount Spokane (the Stake that has literally my favorite area of all time Shiloh Hills!! You all already knew that anyways cause I talk so much about it whatever! 😂) They had their special stake conference right after us! I saw so many of my old members!! It was so awesome!! Elder Lundberg told me while we were companions, that I needed to find my family out here because I was struggling with being away from home at that time.. I did truly find my family for sure out here! Seeing all of my old members from Shiloh it really felt like I was coming home for a second there! 😂 It was awesome!! The members there really helped me out and got me through a tough time in my Mission! I will forever be grateful for them!! 😊  My WML's wife said to me "Wow you have matured!" Are you for real right now?!? I really don't think I have changed at all but people can really see a difference outside of me!! I don't know about that though we will wait until I get home and my family and my friends will be the true test of that!! 😂 I literally had a line waiting to talk to me while I was there and it was so awesome! Cause I really didn't feel like I did anything for that ward but the ward members all still love and talk about me all the time there! Like new Missionaries that come there all come up to me and say they know me and that I am the "Golden Shiloh Boy" it has truly been a humbling experience for me to know that no time is wasted and that it may feel like you aren't doing anything but it will all pay off in the long run!! It has really been so worth it so far!! I love my Mission and I would not want to be doing anything else right now!! If you are thinking about going GO! You won't regret it!! Don't let me pressure you though... Its not like anyone listened to me anyways!! 😂 Maybe that will change when I get home!😂  Missions are great and the Washington Spokane Mission is the best Mission ever!!! Welp thats all I got!
