Lewiston, ID- Week #33

Hello my friends and family!! Yes by the title you can tell that it is indeed Transfers... So whats happening to me you might ask?? Drum roll please!!!!......................................IM BEING TRANSFERRED!!! Yes ladies and gentlemen you heard that correctly!! I am leaving the good ole Shiloh Hills ward!! My home for the last 4 and a half months!! I will be leaving to Lewiston!!! Which is in Idaho....I know I know what you all are going to say! Yes i did get the butt of that joke where when we (we as in people in Utah) get our Mission Calls we all joke we are going to Idaho!! And I am going to Idaho!! It has taken 7 and a half months but i finally got there!! Im way excited though I know that my work here in Shiloh is now come to an end but i know that the Lord needs me elsewhere at this time!! I am needed in Lewiston!! And i cant wait to go and meet all the great people down there!!! And all of the experiences awaiting to happen!! Woohoo no matter where i go its going to be a party!!!  Just said goodbye to your son and it absolutely breaks my heart!! Thank you for raising such a sweet, kind, uplifting person. He truly is a man of God and I know without him I would be nowhere near where I am today (don't let him fool you by saying he was a small part)! He has pushed me to grow in my faith so much and inspires me to learn more from seeing how much the Gospel has blessed his life and how happy it makes him. Your son is an amazing friend, person, and missionary. Thanks for raising such an amazing kid and thanks for allowing him to be away from home to change people's lives!! Please keep me updated on him if you can and he also said to ask you to add me to the group email?

Message I received from Zena:

Hey momma Scott! I saw that you commented on a picture of my friends and I and I just wanted to send you a quick message! I wanted to thank you for raising Logan the way you did! I met him the very first day he came to the Shiloh hills area (along with a few other missionaries). I have never really had any religious background (it was actually like a foreign language to me in a way) until I stated having lessons with Lundberg and Logan. He has brightened my life by not only teaching me about the gospel and helping me discover how true it is but also by being the bright and kindhearted kid that he is. He will forever leave footprints on my heart when he leaves this area and it will be absolutely break my heart. In such a short time he has become one of my best friends. You raised an amazing man who has an amazing connection to God. And I just wanted to thank you for allowing him to be away for such a long time to teach others about this gospel. He has truly lightened my life by it and he is an amazing teacher. So thank you, I wouldn't have made the progress I have if I had not met Logan!

Spokane, WA- Shiloh Hills Ward- Week #32

 I had a really cool experience this week!! We were at those freaking sketchy Armageddon Apartments!! Those apartments are really freaking sketchy!!! Like yesterday we were at those apartments and we found this lady's wallet! It had her Social Security, Passport, ID, Credit Cards, You name it her life was literally in our hands!!! We found it in the parking lot and we had no clue where she lived so we kind of just started looking around because you know thats some important stuff and we couldn't just set it back down on the ground!! So the Sisters and my companion started walking to these apartments but I just had the distinct feeling that this certain door was the one!! I yelled at all of them and told them to try this certain door!! But with all of them not taking what I say and putting it to use they go to the door right next to it!! PUNKS!! Anyways the person living there didn't answer so i told them will you finally try that other door! So they did and Guess what!!! It was the right freaking house!!! Woohoo i am a freaking wizard or something!! The actual lady that we had the wallet for wasn't even there her little sister was, So we gave her a series of questions and after a hard 3 question quiz she passed and gave her the wallet! They also called it a clutch but i have no clue what that is so it will continue to be called a wallet! 😂 Yeah then we left a Pass along card with our number on it and needless to say we have a return appointment with this lady!!! Woohoo new investigator!!! Well for the Marshallese Elders because she is Marshallese so thats ok i guess!! 😂 It was a really cool experience!!! Moral of the story?? Listen to Logan and you will be blessed!! I sure am humble too huh?? I also had the amazing opportunity to perform a baptism on Saturday!! The water was freezing freaking cold and my toes were going numb!! But in all seriousness the baptism was so cool and for sure an experience I will never EVER forget!!! Even though it counted as a Shawnee YSA baptism I don't really care about that because its all the same gospel and the same priesthood and we have brought someone closer to our Savior Jesus Christ!!! It was the best thing ever!! The bomb.com!! I am for sure a pro at baptizing people!!! Again i am the perfect example of humility you should all follow my example!! 😂 It was a great learning week!! I hope you all enjoy the break with Presidents day today!! And again i will say it don't be dumb!! Remember who you are and what you stand for! Make right choices, and to add another one to this great list follow Logan for the perfect example of Humility!!! 😂 I love you all so much and i will talk to you all next week!! Stay safe!!

Spokane, WA- Shiloh Hills Ward- Week #31

Well this week wasnt too eventful!! But it is ok you get those weeks every once and a while!! 😂 So yesterday we went to go see some people out on our Ward list and we went to these apartment complexes and i guess they call them the Armageddon Apartments!! So we went in there and it just felt like all hell was breaking loose!! I also felt like i was a hooligan!! All of these parking roofs... I dont know what to call them those things that cover the parking stalls!!! I hope you know what im talking about if not i will send a picture of what i am talking about!!! Anyways all of these parking roof things were all tipped over and cars were just everywhere!! We saw that all of this furniture was all over the apartment complex!! There were also these random animals running all around this place too!! It honestly felt like the world was ending and everyone was turning on each other!! It was like something that i would see in a video game or on a scary movie.. (all of you should know how i handle scary movies.. not very good!! Lets just say im a wuss!! 😂) Anyways not important to the story! It was just a crazy feeling and scene that was there my adrenaline was rushing and i felt like a hooligan!! It was awesome!!!!

So, we are planning on a baptism this week for Tayler (Zena sadly fell off date for the moment being. Because she doesnt feel like she is ready) This is going to be a great experience because i have the honor to be the one baptizing her!! This is going to be so cool and an experience that i will forever remember!!! Im so glad that we have this church and the correct priesthood authority to do such things!! And how i am worthy enough to perform such a sacred ordinance!! That is just the coolest thing ever!!!! And the 4 new investigators we found last week!! 2 of them were the Sisters and 2 of them were ours (Well one all 4 of us found together but the sisters just gave him to us cause he is a he) But they have all come to church a few times!! They are really understanding and progressing well im so excited to see how far they go!! They are all really amazing and i love them so much!!!! Sorry that this email is shorter and more boring than normal it was just one of those shorter (feeling) and boring weeks!! 😂 Well i hope you have a great Valentines Day!! I love you all so much and cant wait to talk to you all next week!!!

Spokane, WA- Shiloh Hills Ward- Week #30

       I guess this thing follows me to Spokane...Am i really that big of a trouble maker?? I am a changed man i thought!! 😓 

Well Hello my friends and family!! Maybe some enemies but you shouldnt read this if you are my enemy!! Anyways!! I gave you all some home work last week and no one gave me feedback....I wasnt serious about this assignment if you watched the video you would have laughed out loud cause thats what i did!!! It was a poorly made song with some people that looked like they were from the 70's with a terrible song saying how Jesus was our friend!!! 😂 It honestly changed my life and if you want to laugh or even giggle i recommend watching that!!! Anyways with my title you can tell that the Super Bowl did happen... And the white Jersey curse does continue!! That makes since 2010 (7 Years!!!) that this has been a thing!!! Do you realize the last time that the team that wasnt wearing the white jerseys won i was 12!!! 12 years old people that is young!!! But its ok the super bowl will be there when i get home!!! HAHAHa Sorry this will be a shorter email the computer at the library i am at is counting down my time!!! Its Stressing me out so much!!! AHHAHHHHH But anyways i would just like to tell you all that i am alive and well but the snow is so dumb!! Yes Mother nature decided she was not done!! She dumped a lot more white stuff down on us!! Curse you Mother Nature!!! Its ok that just meant a lot more service for us....yay...BUT!! I am a freaking pro with a snow shovel now!! You all best be watching out for me Logan is gonna serve you all when he gets home!!! Just the last things that i want to leave you with is the Falcons should have won there is no way you go up 21-3 at half and lose!! Well i give them a little slack if the other team has Tom Brady then i think you dont look as bad!! But the first Super Bowl in History to go into Overtime?!?! I bet that was a thriller to watch!! I hope you all had a freaking awesome week and Super Bowl Sunday because you already know i did!!! Well I love you all and i cant wait to hear from all of you next week!!!
