Helllllllllloooooooooooo Everyone and I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!! 

I hope you know that I did! I loved every second of living this wonderful Christmas Season! But thank the heavens that it is over! 😂 The holidays are always the hardest time on the Mission but it is all better once it is over! 😂 This one though was super awesome and unforgettable!! Not only because I came back to the Promised Land in 5 Mile Prairie.. Because it was just so freaking awesome!! Christmas Day came and we opened our Presents! Super fun and I felt right at home for it! Then we went to the Stake Center to have this Missionary Brunch that the Zone put on! We thought since we are all Familyless we might as well hang out with eachother! 😂 Anyways we cook this big breakfast with Crepes, Eggs, Hashbrowns, and all the other good stuff that people have for breakfast! It was a ton of fun! Then we played some games like Mafia! Ok we only played Mafia! 😂 It was probably the most stressful game of Mafia I have ever played!! First off it was the first game that I didn't die within the first 2 rounds! 2nd is because It was me (A normal Citizen) alive with the Mafia, and The Angel (That saves people from dying I guess). So it comes down to the final round I am alive and the last 2 people are accusing eachother of being the Mafia! They start accusing me but I know very well what I am! The Mafia and the Angel are both something that I am not! 😂 They both have a vote against them and I am the deciding vote! It all came down to that its either I live on with the Angel or I die because the Mafia will kill me!! AHHHHHHH Why!!!! Anyways to make a long story short I end up flipping a coin cause I don't know who to believe. I ended up putting my vote to the Angel and I die because I kept the Mafia alive... Yay me! 🙄 Never again will I want to be in that position! That was fun then we played a little basketball! It was so much fun! Then we went to our WML (Ward Mission Leaders) house for Dinner and we got to SKYPE!! WOOHOO!!! I always love that part! It was honestly the best!! No changes to those punks at all!! While Elder Speckhard Skyped I played Phase 10 with the Family! They were so much fun and honestly that was the farthest I have ever made it in Phase 10! It was a good night!! A Christmas I will never forget!! When I got back to the Ward they instantly made me feel loved and welcomed back! Almost all the members were telling me "Welcome Home Elder Scott" I truly felt like I was coming home to my home ward! But it was still a ward that I loved and people I loved as wel! Truly an unforgettable Christmas! We were walking and Elder Speckhard took a nasty spill.. It was pretty funny I will have to say! Anyways I am sorry for the email that has been everywhere! I hope we all can remember the True meaning of Christmas this season and how we could best serve our fellowman! We don't only have to serve eachother around Christmas do it all year! Keep the Christmas Spirit year round! Except the Christmas music that can stop! 😂 Remember the Birth of our Savior and what it means to us! It means so much to me and I don't know where I would be without a knowledge and a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ! I love him so much and being a Missionary is the best way to share that knowledge I know and love! I love you all so much! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all in 2018!!! Hey Everyone!!!!! 

You might be really confused after reading my email title... 😐 Just as confused as me probably!! Ok so here is the story.. I was serving in Five Mile Prairie at the beginning of this Transfer right? Ok so you picking up what I'm putting down right now? Alright then 3 weeks into this transfer I got ET'd (Emergency Transferred) to the Valley here in Saltese and Greenacres! Alright you still with me? We got our Transfer Emails this morning and guess what.. I am going BACK TO FIVE MILE!!!!!! WHAT IN THE HECK?!?!?! 😂 Why move me for 3 weeks just to move me back?!?!? I am so so confused right now its not even funny! I will be going back with Elder Speckhard (My companion I had right before I got here) We will indeed be spending Christmas with eachother and I will be going back to a ward that I loved so dearly! God has a great sense of humor let me tell you! 😂 Its a Christmas Miracle I tell you!! I'm glad that I am getting transferred to an area I know and love for Christmas! Its better than going to a brand new area with people I don't even know! I am truly blessed and the Lord does in fact love me!! 😂 Lets go its going to be so much fun once again! I have a tendency to get separated from someone and to go back to them later in the Mission! Ok that only happened one other time with Elder Lundberg but hey 2 times in one Mission!?! That doesn't happen all the time!! Anyways I don't know what else to share with what happened with my week this week... Its been a pretty crazy one let me tell you! I went on a few exchanges with Elder Taylor pretty much 2 out of the 3 days we actually got out to work this week! 😂 Things were happening all around so I really didn't get to work in Saltese and Greenacres like at all this week... But we did put in a lot of work in the Sullivan and Ridgecrest wards!! They have these Catholic Charities apartments that is a literal gold mine for people to teach there!  😂 We go in and just talk to everyone and give them Book of Mormons and we give them Light the World and all that jazz! Its seriously so good and so much fun!! The kids there are insane though! Swearing up a storm and running in the road to on coming cars!! Freaking nuts kids!! There is like no parenting going on there I swear!! They were stressing me out like no other!! It was still really fun though to go on exchanges a few times with a good friend!! We also went to the Temple as a zone this week on Friday!! What up 2 times to the temple this Transfer!! What a blessing!! I consider myself really lucky!! I love the temple so so much!! You always learn something and you feel the Spirit all the time there! Its so amazing!! Well other than that the snow started coming down this week! As of right now the rain is beating the snow out so its currently going away.. I don't know what to think about it! I like it to go away cause I don't like it as a Missionary!! When I get home it could snow all it wants!! Wow sorry this email is everywhere! I can't remember what happened this week and I don't know what to think of my Transfer call... I'm speechless!! Things are happening! 5 Mile is about to literal bump once again!! They ain't ready!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!! LOVE YOUUUUUUUU!!!!!

Spokane Valley- Saltese and Greenacres Wards-Week #74

Hey whats up everyone!!!!! 

It has been another wonderful week here in the Valley for Elder Scott! Things have started to happen and I am so excited to see it happening in front of my eyes!! 😂 I don't know what it is but President seems like he loves to put me in "Dead Areas" if thats what we want to call them! 😂 It just shows that God is a God of Miracles and he continues to bless his children!! With a little hard work and a great positive attitude we will see miracles!! 😂 Anyways the week was so awesome! Something cool that happened though, on Saturday we had the opportunity to have a Mini Missionary for the day! He was just a Priest in the neighboring stake next to us! We got him at 8 AM and we didn't drop him off until 5 PM! It was so cool I wish I had that chance to do it before I left! He did everything with us (Plan, Personal and Companion Study, Etc.) It was so freaking cool! His name was Nathan and he was a way cool kid! He is going to be a rockin Missionary when he goes out!! 😂 The reason why I talk about how Rockin of a Missionary Nathan will be is because when we had him we had a lesson with an Investigator that we just recently found and we have never met with him before. When we got there he had questions for dayz! He would keep firing these questions off and I would answer a lot of them! I talked A LOT during this lesson! His name is Ken BTW. Ken would ask a question and I would pause to see if anyone else would have an answer, He would ask if we didn't have an answer and I would tell him that "Oh no I have an answer I don't want to hog the talking stage!" 😂 Nathan though he is the same age as Ayden and Jaret and he would answer some questions, the ones that he had a for sure answer though and I just saw how much more ahead he was than me when I was his age! This age group knows a lot and they have firm sure fire testimonies! Its so awesome I am so excited to see where my punk brothers go they will change lives and they will be so awesome!! Just like these kids it made me realize how much I really do know! Flashback to Pullman with Elder Lundberg we had some similar lessons with people and they would fire questions like it was nothing! I HAD NO CLUE WHAT THE ANSWERS WERE!! 😂 Fast Forward 14 Months later I am in that same position and I am answering these questions like its nothing! I was so happy with myself cause I think about those lessons in Pullman and I thought I would never get to that point! Well now I am for sure closer than I was! 😂 It was a testimony builder to me to show me that I am for sure learning out here! I am growing not only physically (Maybe not that one) but also spiritually!! Its been so good for me I love my Mission so so much and I wouldn't want to trade it for anything else in the whole world!! Oh I forgot to tell you how the story with Ken ended! 😂 To make a long story short with a lot of questions and at the end of this 2 Hour lesson that we had we taught him the Restoration and we put him On-Date to be Baptized on December 30th!! Woohoo!! #Blessed We also had Zone Conference this week which is always so so good!! I love seeing other Missionaries that I have served around!! What a blessing! Oh and a major Miracle we have seen is Tuesday and Wednesday we worked our heads off!! Those 2 days we walked over 15 Miles, we passed out 8 Books of Mormon, Passed out 30 Light the World cards, and we found I think 3 new Investigators!! Miracles are truly happening in Saltese and Greenacres!! I am so glad I am here to see it!! Heavenly Father blesses us! We need to show him that we are hungry and he will feed us!! 😂 That is something my Branch President in Davenport said! I really like that a lot and I will be saying it for the rest of my life!! 😂 I love you all so much!! We have yet to have snow which is good keep praying for us up here in Spokane! Spokane Valley- Saltese and Greenacres Wards-Week #73

Happy December everyone!!! 😊 Its crazy to think that it is December already!!! Where is time going?? Its not going slow that is for sure!! 😂 Well my week was pretty much crazy and insane all week!! My Mission continues to grow crazier and crazier every time!! Well I am so so sad to say that I got ET'd this week to a new area... 😥😥 Yep you heard it I have officially left 5 Mile Prairie!!! I'll be real that was one of the hardest goodbyes I have ever done before in my Mission!! It was so hard for me!! I grew to love the people and the ward there so so much!! It was also in my most favorite area of the Mission up in good ole North Spokane!! Ah it was so bad and hard! The work was picking up hardcore and I won't even be there to see the fruits of my labors!! Awesome....😐 Well its ok as much as I loved it up there God needs me else where at this time! He sees that my work there was good and moved me... Well I beg to differ Big man!! Too bad I am not the one making decisions here huh?? 😂 He has a plan for me and us and all we can do is trust him and trust what he does! I have full trust in him and I am ready for any challenge and opportunity that he blesses me with!! 😊 Well where I got transferred to is still in Spokane but in Spokane Valley is what they call it I guess! Don't ask me why I just work here! 😂 Anyways being here in the Valley I notched yet another Companion (That makes it companion #18 for me 😂) His name is Elder Petersen and we get along great! I live in a 4-Man with some past Elders I have served around! Its pretty fun! I enjoy it! I cover 2 wards now they are called Saltese and Greenacres!! We had church yesterday and Saltese meets at 9 AM and Greenacres meets at 1 PM... Needless to say that Sundays are a long and exhausting day!! 😂 We have to drive the other Elders that we live with to church as well so yesterday we left at about 8 AM and didn't get home til about 7 PM... What a blessing am I right?? 😂 The ward is good and I am having a lot of fun up here!! God is looking out for me I guess I felt like I was going to leave 5 Mile at the end of this Transfer anyways... Transfers are on December 20th.. So God gave me a full month to warm up to my ward and get to know them before Christmas!! WOOHOO!! That is if I stay here for next transfer.... Ha... Ha  😓 The reason why I say this is because I just get done unpacking my bags and everything and I sit at my desk, before I go on in the story there is something you should know about this certain picture of Jesus! This is the same picture of Jesus that is in all Churches! Its the Red Robe one that is usually in the Foyers of the church! The story is his emotions change when you are doing good or bad. For example when I have noticed I am doing bad he looks like he is disappointed. Etc. Stuff like that! Going on in the story though! I have this picture of Jesus sitting on my desk and I hear a voice come and it says "You shouldn't have done that...."😓 Then I swear I see him smirk!!  Then another time I am really trying to adjust to this new area and the same voice comes into my head and it says "Don't get comfy here..." and I swear I see him smirk again!!  Ahhhh I am lowkey terrified... We will see what happens though!! 😂 Oh and this same picture of Jesus I have Elder Speckhard is convinced it winked at him twice!! That boy is going insane!! 😂 I don't know I'm not saying nothing, but I'm just saying it wasn't me who said it, it was Jesus!! 😂 So yeah that is my update for this week!! I am excited to see what the last 2 weeks of this transfer has in store for me!! I love you all and thanks for taking the time to read through this weird crazy email!! Spokane Valley- 5-mile Prairie Ward-Week #72

Temple Day!!!

What up, What up People!!! How was all of your Thanksgiving?!?! Mine was great minus the fact that I couldn't play any Football Thanksgiving Morning!!! 🙄 Its all good though! Its over now and I will get my full feel of the football when I get home!!  😂 Thats weird for me to think about that so I am going to stop now!! 😂 Anyways Thanksgiving was so great! We went to this super awesome Members house (The Beasley's) they fed us and filled us up big time!! It was an awesome Dinner.. Or Lunch I should say... 😂 Because we had it at like 1:00 PM... Which isn't out of the ordinary thats when we would have it normally back at home.. It is out of the ordinary for me because we were done eating by like 3... and that was our only Dinner.. #SadDay It was great though Sister Beasley's Brother actually lives in Syracuse!! Small world right?? He is actually in the Great Syracuse South Stake in the Harmony Bluff ward.. 😂 The church always finds a way to make the world smaller!! 😂 Speaking of that my Trainer (Elder Tsang) went home to Hong Kong about 3 weeks ago and when he got home he ran into a fellow ward member by the name of Sister Katelyn Anderson!! 😂 See even in Hong Kong the church is still there making the world smaller!! 😂 Thats pretty funny and great but its weird to think that November is already over!! It feels like it just started... We start December this week and we all know its about to start getting cold and snowy!! Buckle up ladies and gentlemen its going to be a bumpy ride! 😂 The faster we get this Winter over the happier I will be as a Missionary!! 😂 Anyways the work up here is really starting to pick up! Iove it!! This ward when I got here was pretty freaking dead... I think I told you all this, but my President sent me here and in my first interview with him told me that this area hasn't been worked in about 6 months... I was pretty shocked to hear that, and he told me that is the reason why I sent you here is to pick the work in the area. He told me he's seen me pick up the work in former areas and he wanted me to work the crap out of this area. (I was paraphrasing of course at that last part 😂) I don't say this to gloat, or to say "Hey look at me! I am such an awesome Missionary" I say this because Faith is important and attitude means EVERYTHING! Like President Dymock could have came in and told me that "hey this area hasn't been worked in 6 month have fun.." and end the interview right there. He showed that he has faith in me to trust God and do what he wants me to do. My or my companions attitudes could either make or break this area! If we walked around saying "This area is dead why are we even trying" then God will not bless us with miracles! That is some of the big things that I have learned being here is that we need to have Faith that God will put people in our paths and he will bless us with miracles to teach! If we don't believe he will then why would he do it for us then? I say this because people have been coming out of the Woodwork lately! Starting with the Sad news Margret (The one I talked about last week) dropped us Thanksgiving morning.. #SadDay she said she was very involved in her Lutheran church and she didn't want to waste our time... Its sad but God will prepare her when she is ready... Our other investigators are doing really well if we could meet with!! SATAN STILL NEEDS TO CHILLLL!!!! The rest of the world could do their missionary work easily because Satan is focusing all of his time and energy on 5 Mile Prairie!! 😂 I will update you all next week and to see if Satan has chilled since then!! 😂 Remember Miracles are happening in 5 Mile, Have the faith to see miracles, and Attitude means EVERYTHING!!! I love this work so much!! I love you all talk to you next week!!! LOVE YOUUUUUUUUU!!!

Spokane Valley- 5-mile Prairie Ward-Week #71

HEY WHATS UP HELLO FRIENDS, FAMILY, And Acquaintances!! Well you all thought I just didn't want to email yesterday!?!? WRONG!!!😂 I got my P-day changed from yesterday to today!! The reason being is that we are going to the Temple today as a Zone! President just changed it a few months ago that if we are going to the Temple we have to take time out of our P-day to do it. There are 2 days we are assigned to go, Tuesday or Thursday. If you are going on Tuesday your P-day changes to Tuesday, If you are going on Thursday you have to take time out of your Monday P-day for the Temple! While I was in Davenport we ended our P-day by like 1 PM so we could go to the Temple! Before the change P-day was normal and we just took time out of our Normal day to go to the Temple! Personally I like that better! I only have like 3 more times to go to the Temple out here though so I am not even mad! 😂 Anyways thats why I am emailing today!! Well HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! On Thursday.... I wished it! You can re-read this email on Thursday if you want it from me correctly! 😂 This week was full of Miracles! I am so glad this week was as awesome as it was!! I had my Birthday which was awesome!! 5 Mile really knows how to make someone feel really good on their Birthday!! I had constant texts, Members coming to drop off some desert, Which our fridge is chuck full of now! 😂 And just making it a special day!! It was probably one of the best birthdays I have ever had!! It was so great!!! I am truly blessed to see that people care about me and they love me! I couldn't ask for anything more!! That was my Birthday and we saw some Miracles on that day! We went to go see this lady that I have talked to before! A little back story on this lady I don't remember if I have told this story already or not.. If I have sorry for the repeat of a story! 😂 This was back when I had Elder Holmgren as my Companion! We were tracting one day and we knocked on this door, this lady answers and we go through the whole thing. Saying "Hey were the Missionaries, we are looking for service..." The same usual tracting thing we usually say! 😂 Anyways she goes on to say "Sorry this isn't a good time...I have a lot of family over because my Husband just died a week or so ago..." AHHHHHHHHHH (That was what my response was in my head) 😂 I didn't really say that I didn't know what to say because that was the first time anyone has ever been that open with me on a doorstep conversation!! I'll be honest I floundered and I said something along the lines of "Sorry to bother, we will come by some other time" and we left...... 😐 WHAT?!?! Yeah that was me! I have been thinking about that woman for a very long time!! Finally on Friday we went by and she was home! I made sure to fix the mistake that has been taking a toll on me for a while! We walked up and I testified to the Plan of Salvation to this Woman! Her name is Margret by the way... I don' t think I mentioned that! 😂 Anyways I testified of the Plan of Salvation and told her that she will see and live with her husband again as an Eternal Family and that God just didn't put us down here in Families and then for us to go up to Heaven and to just not care about that. Thats not what God is like. He is our Father in Heaven and he wants all of us, His Children to come back and live with him again as an Eternal Family! She loved that and was really interested in learning more!! We are having our first lesson with her tomorrow! Pray for us and Pray for her especially!! After that I felt weights lifted off my back! I no longer felt guilty for missing an opportunity there!! I have high hopes for Margret and I know she will do what God wants her to do! 😊 Thats Margret! Last night as we were walking back home we met a Ex-Member of the church! His name is David and he told us I have learned things about the church and I don't want to shake your faith so I won't tell you! I told him to lay it on me because there is nothing that can shake my faith of this church! He goes off and says the normal anti that we normally hear, and we kindly answer the questions that he asked! He wanted to argue with us and to kill our testimonies. He looked me straight in the eyes and said "I know for a fact that Joseph Smith didn't see God! He was a chump and a liar!" That struck a cord with me there... I looked straight back at him and I told him I knew without a shadow of a doubt that Joseph Smith in reality saw God! He was called to be a Prophet and lead and restore Gods true church back on the Earth!! It didn't change anything with him but I know that to be true!! I know without any doubt that this is true!! That is one thing that he or anyone else can't take away from me is my Testimony... That is the one big thing I learned this week is how powerful a or my testimony is! No one can change it or tell me what I believe!! I love this Gospel so much and it has really made my life better! As crazy as it might sound it really does bless our lives and bless our families! Its just Amazing let me tell you!! 😊 Being a Missionary is the best thing I could be doing right now! It sucks somedays and there are days where I hate my life and I just want to come home! At the end of the day though its all worth it and it would be dumb of me to come home anytime before July of 2018!😂 Oh and one last thing!! One of our services that we did this week we got the opportunity to butcher some Chickens!! First time for anything right??: It was fun but sad at the same time! It was a good time though!! 😂 I want to leave you on a Spiritual note. I love this Gospel so much, God still loves and talks to us today through our Modern day Prophet Thomas S. Monson! He has been called by God to lead and guide us today! Its been the best Message ever that we could share with anyone! Don't take my or anyone elses word for it! If you have questions ask God! He will in reality answer you! I know that to be true! Missions are hard but they are all worth it!! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Eat lots of Pumpkin Pie for me!! LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!
