I hope your Memorial day was great!! Mine was so great!! We went to a ton of BBQ's and we got to eat a ton of food!! It was seriously so awesome!! I would think that I would doing the same thing if I was home!! I am now in Davenport, ladies and gentlemen!! What I can tell you is that Davenport is probably the booniest area that I have ever served in my whole mission, my goodness!! Like when we transferred we were driving to Davenport, and we saw nothing but Fields for the whole hour drive that it was!! Then all of a sudden Davenport pops out of no where!! Its like a little oasis in the middle of the desert!! Pretty funny, but super boonie!!
(Google Maps view of Davenport)
We (We as in my new companion Elder Andrews and I) swept into this area Elder Andrews is really cool and chill! We get along pretty nicely. Elder Hair and I are still in the same zone we see each other every P-day still so that is pretty funny!! Things are changing around here and I think I am getting more used to change now!! It has been a major adventure for sure!! and no joke we live above a Napa Auto parts store!!
Logan's new home
Its really cool though there is absolutely nothing in this city or town I should say but a Post Office (Which is required I feel like) and a freaking Subway!!! Really? Out of anything we can have in this area they have the Gall... The Guff.. To put a Subway back in my area!!! Its a good thing though an investigator works in that Subway!! Hmmm, I feel like I have done that before...good thing I have practice at teaching people in Subways!! But nothing will ever compare to my Spokane Subway homies!! 😂 Anyways our Branch is so awesome! Our Branch President is so missionary minded!! He took Elder Andrews and I out to go see his home teaching families which is good for us because he home teaches a lot of Part Member and Non Member Families!! He really helped us get our foot in the door!! They all really loved us and our personalities!! So there is a ton of work to do here and I am so excited to do it!! And there is a ton of driving in this are,a too and we all know how I am with driving...I do not like it at all!! I don't know what it is, I do not like sitting in a car for long periods of time!! Its just not fun for me!! Its going to be a lot of work though but I can do it!! Well I have nothing else to report... We swept in and we are still trying to figure out the area so I will update you next week!! I love you all!!! Talk to you all next week!!!
Love,
ELDER LOGAN SCOTT :)
